There’s always a red purse. Even in black and white movies. Something about a red purse that keeps thieves away. Perhaps they think someone will sell it on eBay. That’s how thieves think.

The light played with the people. They didn’t seem to mind. The booze flowed, and the blossoms cherried. Nothing was as it seemed.

Then, the light swooped down to speak about climate change. Few listened, and the ones who did were drinking beer from styrofoam cups. All hope was lost.

But then… but Then, the light got down off its soapbox and began to boogie like there was a tomorrow. Seems we’ll be alright after all.
