Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

The unknown woman to me walks just outside the main building of Kokusai Forum in Tokyo. Points and lights walked along with her.

Window washer wore, 2010.

Not sure why the window washer wore a patch over his eye, but it would be rude to ask, and a bit dangerous.

Something subtly spiced, 2010.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Satoko orders something subtly spiced at En in Jiyugaoka. The moment must be caught digitally. Blurry, depicting movement, stretching the light so the dish is understood, and enjoyed.

Satoko is lovely. She likes to step in front of the sun. She likes movies. She is lovely.

Always a red purse, 2010.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

There’s always a red purse. Even in black and white movies. Something about a red purse that keeps thieves away. Perhaps they think someone will sell it on eBay. That’s how thieves think.

They walk and they breath. The sakura watchers participate because they’re there. The ground supports them.

The light played, 2010.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

The light played with the people. They didn’t seem to mind. The booze flowed, and the blossoms cherried. Nothing was as it seemed.

The light swooped, 2010.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Then, the light swooped down to speak about climate change. Few listened, and the ones who did were drinking beer from styrofoam cups. All hope was lost.

The light got down, 2010.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

But then… but Then, the light got down off its soapbox and began to boogie like there was a tomorrow. Seems we’ll be alright after all.
