This Light; Contrasts

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

The haves and the nots. We all have something. There are those that’ll never read this. They’re the nots, as it applies to this entry. They have the cannot, so that might rectify everything. If not, then the universe ceases to function.

This Light; Witness

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

I was coming down the staircase, when it occurred to me, some words have too many letters. Meaningless letters. But they’re virtual. It really doesn’t matter that much how many letters, within reason, a word has. You accept it because you can read it. You get it. Other aspects of our lives are similar. Time spent getting somewhere, for examples.

This Light; Real

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

The dark sky was kinda scary. Survived it though. Reality. A reality. The reality. Really reality.

Understatedly; Divided

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

The divide brings us together. I’m here, and I’m there. There is always here. How can I get there? I’m there. How can I understand I’m there? With the perception of this and that, we function as human. The divide.

Understatedly; Less Open

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

Not fully is something. There’s a place for less. What isn’t less? Is the idea of God less? If not, then most? The best isn’t the best. It’s less.

Understatedly; Opening

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

The next approach was clear. Take charge. Move. Accept what’s to do. What’s to do? The thing undone. What’s that? Everything. The step untaken. The thought unthought. The hardship unendured. Yes, it was clear. Not that I have a choice, but that’s no excuse. Yes it is.

Trained; Borrowed

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

We’re plankton. Although this is true, it’s not untrue. I’m as different from you as you are from plankton. They’re all different as well. We’re all one. We’re all different, but… but, we’re all one.

Trained; Friends

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

We can be friendly. It happens, we’re not in a good mood, someone rubs us the wrong way, they look at us like we did something, something to them, when we weren’t even thinking about them, but we are now, and now we’re funky, nothing else but the asshole who’s face we want to punch, and there he is, just waiting, but maybe he feels like shit as well. Where’d that come from?

Trained; Speedily

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

It speeds by, relatively. We all whiz by one another without saying hello. Rude? Everything travels at a relative speed to everything else. When you feel alone in the universe, realize that you are. You are everything, therefore you don’t have any companions. Damn hippy.

That isn’t meant to be, but is. There it is. Be present tense verbs am, is, and are. It’s just something, something more important that any ‘ol thang.

On our way. We go in a direction. They cannot catch the now, nor can we. Us and them isn’t. Moments of color and warmth and tenderness. More than pleasant.

Trained; Lean Into It

Tuesday, March 20th, 2012

Going into something isn’t brave. It cannot be helped. Imagine being on a roller coster for the first time, and the last thing you remember is going to sleep in front of the TV. You go over the first, largest hump. It’s terrifying. Are you brave? You’re choiceless.

So you see, to slant in one direction indicates preference. Trains are sentient.

Bonus Story: The very large group felt good after confronting the old trouble maker at the supermarket. They walked up to her, pointed a finger in her face, and demanded that she stop being old. She snorted, rolled her eyes, then took her bags to her car. Win-win.

These Photos_001; As Is

Monday, March 19th, 2012

Dizzy is a sensation. It’s there because we acknowledge its existence. If you say you’re dizzy, I believe you, though it isn’t measured. Folks measure brain wave activity, though what it’s like is understood first hand. We’re inclined to have faith in another person’s assertion that he or she feels a particular way, but talk of fantastical feats aren’t taken as truths (depending on who is asked).

I climbed an invisible ladder to Mars.
